Holiday season....

The kids are much better now, all of them caught the cough and flu bug and almost the entire family got sick at somepoint in time. Now that they are much better, it's time for a good outing!

As you can see here, Joanne is much happier now, she was such a grouch when I had to suck mucus out from her nose.

Here's a pic of Jillian trying to be cute.. blowing saliva bubbles.

and here is Jared in the morning.. he's quite a morning baby!

As mentioned, after a long while at home, everyone wanted to get out for some fresh air. We headed to Tanglin Mall cause they had some snow-flake like thing there every year..by the time we got there, the floor was already wet and I guess we missed it. We did manage to catch some shots tho.. but Joanne was sleeping.. so she's out of the pic.

Over in Tanglin, there's a specialty shop that sells toys that are not commonly found in shopping malls and Jared was really enjoying all the toys. I hope I don't have to buy too many.. quite expensive!

Oh and did I mention to you that Jared has found a "sugar" mommy? yeah.... Check out who she is!!!

Here's a picture of the girls with their mommy. Not easy to carry 2 of them on your lap leh.....

anyway.. more pictures can be seen over at Flickr.

updates... it's been awhile. Sorry.

Just got back from the San Francisco about a week ago and the place hasn't changed much. I went there on a company summit event and it was great that I can finally put faces to names. That's the problem when you work with people around the world, you don't often have the chance to meet them.... meeting up, does help improve working relationships. more of such trips!

The babies are doing well except that Jared got the cough that kinda caused his running nose which then cause the phlegm in his throat which is causing much discomfort and not getting much sleep. He is recovering thou but as of today, Jillian somehow caught the virus and she too is coughing a little. Her temperature is also on the rise and she hasn't been eating well. She keeps puking out her milk. Jillian oh Jillian.. pls drink your milk then we can feed you your meds.

Here's a pic of Joanne after attending one of many wedding dinners to come.. hahaha. She had fancy pins on her head which were taken out when she was about to take a bath... and the hair still stood up! hahah..

Could not take picture of the rest as by the time I got back from parking the car, only Joanne was left in her outing dress. ;-)

More updates later... gotta run!

Day in SF

Hi all,

reporting in from SF on what's happening so far. Thanks to Tad for the excellent instructions on taking Interstate 280 North and getting off at 19th Ave and I was at the bridge already. If I trusted the stupid GPS, I think I would be lost already...

Anyway.. here's me at the vistor Vista area, the pic is a little dark cause the sun was coming from behind.

Here's a pic of the bridge showing all the cars travelling across..... traffic is not too bad. Much better than our causeway.

After this, drove a little further up the hills along Marin to get to the scenic points...

Here's me posing with the bridge as the backdrop.. very touristy hor...

Enuff of the red bridge, headed back into the city and nearly got lost... thanks to our "excellent" GPS system.

When we finally found the hotel, took a pic while waiting around...

Next.. lunch!.. by the time we got to the wharf, it was close to 2pm already.. hungry! Decided to drop back to signature place to get Clam Chowder.. Boudin's!

after lunch... the MUST go place is Pier 39. So.. here's me there...

after doing the necessary tourist things... head to rush to catch the Muni to connect to CalTrain. So here's a pic of me on the Muni...

and while riding the muni, I passed by Old Navy!!! It's the biggest store!

The ride from SF to Mountain View is around 50mins and costs about $5. The funny thing is that when the train service started, the driver did the usual annoucements but in a very airliney way....... Truly amazing... and entertaining. Show that they have pride in what they do and enjoy their jobs.. at least they seem like it.

SF is fun.. I hope I get to spend another day roaming the streets.... Jamba Juice!

Cheerio!

Daddy far far away...

Yeah... I'm away on a biz trip and I miss the family.

Can you guess which part of the US I'm in? I'll give you a hint!

Visiting the mothership is cool and you get to see how the folks around here work. First impressions, the people here are real friendly.. and they are willing to give a big "Harlow!" to you. The weather here is great.. it's like there's a 24/7 AC on all the time.. you DON'T sweat!

Dinner around here is mostly western food and the portions are HUGE! I manage to try out the Carl's Jr here and it tastes pretty much the same back home. Over in the US, almost all places provides you with the drive-thru option. Nice...

I've bought loads of stuff though from Gilroy but unforunately, it's winter time and most of the stuff here is not suitable for our hot climate. I did buy over USD$300 worth of baby stuff from BabyGap and Osh Kosh. Here's a sample shot of what I got!

Also, this is my first time driving on the "wrong" side of the road. Over in the US, the driver seats in the left seat so it's rather confusing for someone who has been driving for over 10 years seating on the right hand side. Here's a pic of the car that I'm driving..it's a decent car.. gets the job done. Fuel guzzler tho!

I will be travelling up North to SF city on Friday and I should be visiting some touristy sites... Will post more pictures when I get them. ;-) Stay tuned!

Jillian doing the same as well...but more on aggressive. Think the Godfather movie... "You talking to me......?"

Joanne sitting on the couch. Yes.. she is the first one that can support herself! Well done baby! Setting the pace for the rest...

Joanne showing you here biting strength. poor fish.

And finally, the kids out "shopping" at VivoCity. It's dinner time for them.

Experience as a Full Time Mom for a week and a half.

I have been a full time Mom at home for about a week now. My parents are taking their vacation, and I'm on leave to babysit them with the 2 maids. How is it???? Well, I'm enjoying every minute of it. I like it very much, now that they are a little past 6 months, they want more attention, I spend more time playing with them, watching them attempt to sit up.... roll back & forth, putting almost everything into their mouths, including their toes.... kekeke. Best thing of all is... hearing Joanne going "mama mama", "Babababa", Papapapa", I know she's just making random sounds discovering her voice box.... but it just feels good to be called "mama" =)..... she's also quite attached to her daddy now, they play "rough", she seems to know that daddy is strong enough to hold & catch her. Jared is also starting to make more noice.... like" Grrrrrr", "Arrrrrr", we have a nickname for him "baby dino".... kekeke. Jillian is a screamer too, she screams the loudest among them.....especially when she's fuzzing...... =)

Willl try to post more pictures of them....stay tuned..... =)

Luv,
mommy.

Another weekend with the kids...

Yes... another weekend with the kids just passed and they are growing up fast. Jillian looks has somewhat started to change to look more like Joanne and Jared is starting to make as much noise as the sisters, welcome to the choir.

It's really great that we as parents get to experience this rare opportunity to looking after triplets. When I was younger, I always thought of how interesting life would be if I had twins... but never in my wildest dreams would I imagine I would have triplets. Till today, whenever we go out, you can see people pointing and whispering away wondering if the 3 kids are triplets. Amazing...

Anyway.. enuff talk from the daddy and more pics of the kids... that's why you visit this blog anyway. ;-)

Here's Mommy with the triplets. (Jared, Jillian & Joanne)

Here they are on the Signature red sofa again...

Jillian on our bed... (trying to let her take her 40 winks nap)

The three of them.. invading our bed.

Wondering why all the alphabets are all mixed up.

As usual, there are more pics over here.

Enjoy...

Mommy and Daddy goes for a holiday!!! (short one tho...)

Yup.. Sharon and I took some time off everything and packed out bags to Bali. We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Bali which is located right in front of the beach and next to Kuta shopping area. Not a bad location to be in and the hotel was decent.

Here's a picture of the pool at HRHB

Here we are at the beach... quite a nice beach if you can get past all the people hassling you to buy something..

Here we are again.. posing by the poolside before we head out shopping at Kuta.

One of the more famous things to do while in Bali is to catch the sunset. You can really do that in Singapore due to the locaton of the beaches and the direction of where you are looking into.

Of course, while in Bali, you should also enjoy their traditional balinese massages and we did that over in Ubud (about an hour drive from Kuta). I did not manage to take a picture of ubud except for the entrance into Bodywork Spa.

We pretty much just took the time to relax and we slept alot.. so much so that we actually fell asleep by the pool and got a bit sunburned. hahaha...We did miss the babies while we were there and we very religiously called back home twice a day to check on the kids. Thanks again to Sharon's parents for covering for us during out trip. It was indeed a good holiday and we look forward to bring the kids out the next time. ;-) (except for the particular airline that we took.... which I will NEVER ever take again... everything else is pretty ok)

Here's another picture of us at the famous Bali beach...

More pix here on Flickr.
